Description of Site/Tour
:  The Mud Springs Pueblo is a McElmo/Pueblo III Phase archaeological site dating from AD 900 to 1300. 
The site complex includes between 16 and 18 architectural units with more than 1,000 rooms and 86 kivas present.  A tri-walled tower
structure has also been identified.

 

Meeting Place Location:  To be determined.  (A map will be provided.)


Tour times/Length
:  Meet at 9:00 AM; tour lasts 1½ to 2 hours.


Other information
:  Parking is limited and car pooling will be necessary.  The Mud Springs Pueblo Archaeological Preserve is owned and
protected by The Archaeological Conservancy.
